painting plastic chair ??

Hi everyone,

I have a pair of black plastic office chairs and i would like to change their colour to white. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I need to sand them down before applying spray paint or not. Otherwise do they need a primer before the paint?

Thanks a lot in advance. Don’t know what to do and would like to give them a nice finished. Any help will be very much appreciated.

No matter what paint you paint on the Plastic it will chip very easily..................

if you sand it, you will then have lots of small mraks..................where you sanded it
