Just a note to say that I have found the best way to paint my rough textured outside walls is by first using a pressure washer on them, then before the wall has dried start painting with a bush or roller you will find the paint goes on a lot easier giving full coverage, when the un- painted part of the wall starts to dry out use a small plastic hand pump spray with water in to re moisten the wall.
