Just wanted peoples opinions on this. I'm painting the wood architrave and skirting, so all interior wood. Just wondering if water based undercoat will do the job just as fine as oil based? I've had some pro decorators swear by oil based, though the fumes are pretty bad and its a pain to clean using turps, more fumes.
Could you paint an oil based gloss paint over a water based undercoat?
This is the stuff I'm using: http://www.wickes.co.uk/Wickes-Truewhite-Undercoat-White-5L/p/121783
