Some time ago a picture of a pan connector similar to the image was posted . Could that kind soul or anyone who has a link
point me in the right direction of one please. Google image was not that impressed with my sketch

Thanks for the reply but it's not one of the swan necks it's more square shaped

Same trap as dilalio posted, it was his post from some time ago where I first saw it

Look up vario or universal pan connectors.

I've used the duravit one before but there are many other brands available.
