There's an old song I've always liked called 'on the street where you live' from the film 'My Fair Lady', not my usual choice of music but there you are. Anyway, I've heard it several times in the last week in the background of a tv advert, almost like a modern rap version, I was intrigued and tried to find it on youtube without success.
My usual playlist comes up while I'm on youtube and a regular play is another really old song called 'I get a kick out of you', again an old song but the one I like is from the 70's by a bloke called Gary Shearston.
The usual one that comes up is Gary Shearston performing on TOTP, tonight, the one that came up had instead, Pans People.
After all these years, I'd quite forgotten what delightful young ladies they were.
