Paper & Paint or Mist coat & Paint newly plastered wall

Hi All,

Just wanted to see if there are any benefits or preferences to what to do with newly plastered walls.

Line them and paint or mist coat and paint?

Mist coat either way. It makes the paper easier to remove in the future.

ok, so mist coat either way, but i just need to work out if u use lining paper or not.

If the surface is nice and smooth then no need to use paper, unless you want to add some insulating paper.
