Hi,

We've moved into a property with a Parkray 66g with a decommissioned back boiler.

I've found a replacement and would like to install it and connect it to the hot water cylinder (My friend will do this as he's a HETAS Plummer).

Does anyone know how easy it is to remove the old back boiler and fit the new one?

Thanks

Remove the surround and remove the surrounding brickwork and vermiculite to access pipes.
You will need to remove brickwork above to access C I flue spigot.
Very little actual plumbing once exposed.
I have Installed / swapped dozens of Parkrays ….There is 1 or 2 days work depending on the installation.
Some are bricked in solid.. others filled with vermiculite cement as they should be.

Thanks for the replies. It's going to be a (messy by the sounds of it) spring job, hopefully have 3 medium radiators via an indirect water cylinder
