Hi all,
We have lots of reclaimed pitch pine parquet flooring which when cleaned we wish to lay in our lounge using cromars cromaprufe bitumen adhesive.
My question is this, the floor is currently covered in the old Marley type tiles which are laid into the dpc bitumen. Do these need removing as they are solid and level and have been down 50+ years, could we re bitumen over with cromaprufe directly on top or should we at least lay 6mm ply board then cromaprufe?
or is this a bad idea altogether without removing the tiles????
thanks in advance
