Hi people

It's that time of year where I have to pay out hundreds of pounds for and assessor to some and see me for my annual part p registration. I'm having problems raising the cash because I've had a bit some terrible luck and bad times in my personal life recently meaning I have been unable to work to earn the cash to pay for it.

Does anybody know after the annual date of your last assessment is up how many more days/weeks they give before they take the registration facility away from you?

I have now returned to work and I think it is 3 week overdue as of today  Domestic is about 3 quarters of the work I do so I'm a little worried how long I have to raise it (i can still register jobs this morning)

Thankyou in advance

Who's your reg body? NICEIC, NAPIT, etc? Some now offer subs payments on a monthly basis. That would ease the pain.

what are you on about??

Part P - take the course - pass - end of!

Competent Person Scheme (the big rip off!!) renewable each year no assessment at that time just random inspections here and there.

annual cost ??? a minefield of carp to trawl through then you pick one and find someone else is cheaper 4 weeks later! we paid £391 with Napit for two of us gas, elec, unvented & plumbing. each notification cost a couple of pounds

Talk to your body & explain your predicament.

I'm sure an arrangement could be made to allow for your extenuating circumstances.
