To get part p from niceic you have to demonstrate ability for testing, does this mean i need 2391 plus all 16th edition testing equipment?

I would like to see how you would show the NICE man how you have the ability for testing with no equipment. The 2391 is not compulsory but you would have to show a very good understanding to the inspector man with red horns on his head.

Im comfortable with all tests, but got no stuff myself.
Im on 16th edition course the end of this month, thought i would get it out of way before i start 2360 pt2 in sep...
I have been reading niceic website again about registering, and its still not all black and white to me, charges for this, charges for that, if your niceic do you automatically become a certified domestic installer?
it just seems to me that their website has all the emphasis placed on how much they can screw out of you..
any comments appreciated

Yes you are right. The "charity" will screw every penny it can out of you. BTW have you bought all the books they recommend?
