Part setting Accenta G3 in different zones.

We want to be able to set either just the garage or the whole downstairs on our Accenta G3 when we go to bed but apparently we need an engineer to set this up.

Is this possible for the householder? Can anybody explain how to do it, in simple steps?

You don't necessarily require an engineer.You need the engineers code and an installation manual.Have a good read through the manual , and if you feel confident , give it a go!.
Have a look at ukpanels website , they have manuals , and lots of patience.

hi,
you want to look for the setting in the engineers setting which lets you set your programs, what zones you want armed. just did this on my mums and dads, think you can have up to 3 programs. for them i did program 1 is for during the day (all alarmed) prog 2 for night ( omits some bedrooms and bathroom ect...) it makes things easier so all they have to hit on the key pad is there pin them 'prog' button then 1 or 2 them. hope this helps
