Planning on building a lean to shed, with a stud walls from 4*2 then clad with OSB then Feather edge, When researching partition spacing everywhere seems to specify either 400/600mm which would be fine if using plasterboard, but sheet OSB is 1220*2440mm would this mean on site you have to trim every board to line up fixings on studs / rafters? I will be spacing @ 610mm so save the hassle of cutting each board………what is typically done in the trade?

Of course you set to suit the boards, so either 610 or 406, assuming you are edge butting sheets on the same stud.

So what happens in the instance where 1220 boards one side and 1200 plasterboard the other.....guessing you have to space at 400/600 and trim the boards
