Parts of roof falling off

Hi all,

I've noticed part of the roof in one of my room seems to be collapsing.

Does anyone know how I can fix this for cheap?

Is silicon the best option or is there anything I could use that would mask the fact damage has been done to the roof?

I have no idea how it happened.

I'm based in Ireland.

How big is that piece of metal (?). Looks like it could just be a clout nail where the plaster over the top of it has detached

Guess you mean the ceiling? Just use a filler to repair them sand and paint.
