Party Wall Act - Third Surveyor

In a situation as an adjoining owner & the 2 surveyors are miles apart with my claim for compensation under Section 7.2 of the Party Wall Act.

It is looking like this will have to go to the Third Surveyor to resolve. Anyone had any experience with this?

Unlikely, if he's already paid two to sort it out. He won't keep coughing up until the claimant finds a figure he's happy with.

One of the very first things that the two agreed surveyors must do, is nominate the third surveyor.

This third surveyor acts purely to resolve disputes - nothing else, and their decision is final unless challenged in Court.
