Hi all,
I'm not an expert tiler but I've stripped out my fireplace getting ready to fit wood stove.
I'm tiling my recess with porcelain tiles and and would like some advice on how to achieve the smooth finish plaster on the chimney breast against the tiles in the recess.
Attached is image showing what I mean. I've seen examples with a stainless steel bead finish on the edge of the tile which I don't want.
Hoping you guys can help on whats needed to achieve that lovely smooth finish.
Many thanks all
