Patio Doors - Gap at base of joint

Please see attached pictures ... there was a tiny flimsy piece of plastic at the bottom but unfortunately it snapped off in the wind ... I'm guessing the way to fix this is to extend the black insulation band? Any suggestions and also any tips as to what the insulation strip is called?

Its a French door flying mullion end cap.
The part will be specific to the make of the doors. Can you speak to the company that fitted them?

Have you tried the supplier/fitter yet?
If you take an overall pic inside and out of the doors someone here may recognize the make from the moldings and beads
