Hello,

I'd appreciate some advice. I recently sealed my patio with Thompson's one coat patio sealer. Jet washed it clean. Left it to dry in the sun for 4 hours (this might be my error) and then sealed. It looked great - see before and after.

Following day, after the kids and the wife digging in the garden and the patio getting dusty and dirty I tried hosing it down to get the muck off. But it looked like this - with the muck not cleaning off.

i then tried cleaning with water and a brush and then some washing up liquid and a brush. But there are what appears water stains?

I have a sense of doom! Is it fixable or am I stripping it off? If stripping, any advice with what?

I would REALLY appreciate some help

Sam

You know, I've had a look on my hands and knees and the marks look like patches where the sealer hasn't adhered. Possibly because the slab had moisture in?

Interestingly, the two areas where this has happened are in the more shaded areas. The main area, that gets more sun, does not have this problem.

Reckon I could wait for a dry day and use a brush to fill the gaps of sealer and then, after letting it dry for half an hour, recoat the slab with a roller?

Are they slate..if so they're not porous..so probably not adhered to them.

As to a solution? What's it say on the tin
