Hello,
I have recently dug up my side gate concrete paving slabs and I am going to replace them with porcelain slabs.
Upon digging I found gas, electric and water pipes all at very shallow depths i.e 150 - 200mm below ground level. The most concerning is the gas pipe. See attached picture. Luckily I excavated very carefully, I have temporarily shingled the whole area.
Going forward I am thinking of the best way to to pave over these. Obviously I am not planning to run a wacker plate over those pipes. I was thinking to concrete all around this area so they are well protected. But not sure what is the best course of action to take. If anyone knows the best type of approach to pave over this or can give any advice it would be very helpful.
Thanks
