Hi,
I want to lay a few slabs at right angles to my existing path up to my shed door. I use my shed to keep my bike and the grass, especially with the rain at the moment, gets knackered with me trundling on it.
It's only about 5 ft so will probably only need a couple of slabs. My question is how do i create a stable base? Can i just dig out portions of the grass that the slabs will sit nicely into leaving a cm or so above the grass or will they just sink in time? Would I have to put down a hardcore or something?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Russell
