Hi All , I hope you will be able to help with the following query I have.
I am laying a garden path to a storage shed, the individual paving slabs will have a 100mm gap in between them and will be back filled with gravel.
Due to the irregular shape of the area i am covering, it would be more efficient (and easier) to fasten down the weed membrane (PVC woven type)first ,then lay the slabs on a mortar bed on top of the weed M.
I have laid a hardcore bed underneath , but am worried that the slabs will not be able to adhere properly and will not stay in place.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice regarding this ?
All advice gratefully received.
Glenn
