Pea shingle or turf cost comparison

As a rough guide, I have to level an 18ft x 42ft garden, then cover it either turf or pea shingle.

My apologies, I havent look it up as yet

On the basis of covering capacity, which is cheaper?

depends where you get it (either)

shingle you will have to put down a barrier first = extra £

if you have the patients grass seed

turf is instant but will need maintenance 9 mths a year, stones dont.
I used 20mm gravel on mine all 6 tonnes of it
