I need to re render and pebble dash a wall under a window.
The wall, which is built in red high suction, common bricks is approx. 7ft wide x 5ft high from ground level.
I am thinking of priming the bare wall with SBR mixed, 4 parts water to 1 part SBR,
when dry , applying a first coat of mortar mixed 3 to 1
When the first coat has dried applying SBR again as above but while still wet applying the second coat of mortar mixed 4 to 1 to take the pebble dashing.
Any advise please on the above method, if this is okay would the SBR act as a water proofer, or do I have to use a water proofer added to the gauging water, if so would this be for the first or second coat of render
Many thanks
Bob
