Hi there, is there anyone out there who could impart with any knowledge / experience of doing a pebbled back splash for a kitchen wall? i'm spending hours searching on the internet but all I find is 'Pebbled tiles' which I don't want. I actually want the random pronounced texture of true pebbles. So how would one actually achieve this? Is it a case of getting a bag of pebbles and grout, and sticking them on the wall (will they hold in place long enough to set?) ?! I don't know, and looking for any helpful advice on this. I want it to be a nice feature wall in our new kitchen (building an extension). Also idea of cost - similar to normal stone tiles. Any helpful advice much appreciated. Cheers

When you say pebbles what size are we talking? I've just built a stonewall feature in a bathroom, and around the edge I have put a border about 3" wide and threw "Canterbury Spar" dash on it. These are very small different coloured stones/spar/gravel, and it complements the stone-work. So you will have to tell us the size of pebbles you want to use.. ;)

The size you find on the beach - big'ish, varying I guess from 2inch to 4.5inch, guess'imate.
