We're having the wall of our house re-pebbledashed. It's a 1930s house with a 9" solid wall. Our renderer has taken the old pebbledash off and the idea is to fit a bellcast bead above the DPC and pebbledash above that and fit a plinth below it. However, where the house was extended maybe 50 years ago the DPC loops around the bricks (see the photo). How would you deal with this situation? The area to the left of the loops is a suspended wooden floor; the area of the extension (to the right) is a solid floor. Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

This is an idea I had, but I'd value your comments.
- Pebbledash down to the bellcast bead (shown in blue).
- Make a plinth below the yellow line.
- To avoid bridging the DPC at the wiggles, scribe a gap in the plinth.
