On my extension i will have dash the walls to match existing,
what depth is the norm to set the blockwork back from the facing brick to allow for the scratch and dashing?
The house bricks are set back 20mm but they are imperial so wider thann the 100mm that i building the extension from.

been told 10mm or to use a bead but thought id get some expirienced second opinions.
