I’m guessing no one will know looking at the forums, but trying Peelaway 7 on some intricate Victorian plaster coving.
Allegedly, it’s thick layer on, cover, wait, and it all peels off.
Well, 5 days later, it’s still a paste, no where near dry, and just leaves a messy smear of peel away when trying to take it off.
Nothing like what the videos show….
I have washed it down, but there is still some residue that’s in the intricate parts of plaster.
Is dried, if I paint over that residue, since it’s dry, will it cause any issues?
It’s stuff that doesn’t need neutralising, so hopefully it will be ok?
Anyone had any experience of this stuff?
