I had to research a little to find out if this had a different meaning in UK-to clarify...things in general that annoy. This can go in several different directions, I realize.
One thing I thought of right off the bat.....
"customer service" is fast becoming an antiquated term. From calling a business to settle up a bill to anything practically that involves speaking with a rep from company......if blah blah blah, press or say 1, if blah blah de blah, press or say 2....and on and on and on, and just when you think you're getting somewhere, "your call is very important to us, please hang on the line and the first available rep will be right with you....your estimated wait time is......17 minutes (or worse) and don't hangup....or you have to start over. I'm sure there are more.....give it a go
