Peglar Terrier Thermostatic Valve Replacement

Hi,

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but I know nothing about this topic.

The one of our Thermostatic Radiator valves has just been broken. It's an old (Peglar) Terrier.

Can I simply unscrew it and replace it with another valve or are all the fittings dfferent?

Whats broke ,if it just the top then its just a matter of un csrewing the big silver ring and putting a new head on

Hi,

Yep it's the head that needs replacing, however I can't find an Old Pegler Terrier head (I can only find Terrier II) I was told that not all heads would work, so wondered which one I could use.
