Pegler Shower

Hi

Our Pegler shower handle is starting to feel loose and the shower also drips a little when turned off. Does anyone know how to remove the handle to possibly look at changing the washers inside? I can remove the small screw in the front of the handle but the handle cannot be removed.

It looks like it should come off once the screw is removed, its probably just stuck and needs a bit of leverage
