Hi everyone

I'm looking at building a pergola on the back of my house and putting a plastic roof on it. This will make the area more useable throughout the year. This is the area I'm wanting to build it it needs to go to both edges of the house.

Does anyone have any plans to which I'd be able to follow?

Thanks for any help and advice you can provide

I built a "proper" pergola a few years back (I mean roofless)

I fitted two posts into the ground with postcrete and ran two rails, between the posts, one on each side, coach bolting them through.
At the same height, I mounted a wall plate then used F off screws to fit the rafters between house and posts.
Mine is flat for vines to grow,

You may need to think about snow loads and rain drainage so maybe a few inches fall on one side?
I'd plate to both walls and just have one post.
