Can someone please explain how the perimeter upstand should be fitted:
If insulation over slab scenario, do you put the upstand on top of the insulation at the same depth as the screed (e.g a 50mm upstand x 20mm thick)
OR
Upstand creates a border that the rest of the insulation sits within like a picture frame, e.g. 150mm upstand x 20mm thick (Insulation 100mm + 50mm screed = 150mm upstand)
And how on Earth does it work if you lay the insulation under the slab (e.g. In garage)?!
