hi
I bought a Sovereign strimmer last year as I thought it wouldn't need replacing as often as electric ones. It strims fine but is very difficult to start and keep going - tends to flood easily but won't start and keep running without full choke. The unleaded/2 stroke mix seems right and I just wonder if there's something else I should be doing to service it so that it runs better. I'm quite prepared to accept that it's just a cheap and nasty machine. Any suggestions?

a common problem is leaving fuel in during winter when not in use this tends to colagulate with the oil like a syrup and blocks jets etc, had it in my chain saw and strimmer.
