Peugeot 106 And A Clarion Stereo That Resests Itself

Hi All. My stereo died in my 106 and my mate gave me his old Clarion one. After a bit of scredriver work I got it to fit and it works fine....until I turn the ignition off. When I start up again the cd ejects itself and all the radio stations settings have gone - basically it just resets itself - I am assuming there is no power running to it once I have switched the ignition off. I am hoping this is the right forum to ask in and would be grateful for any help.

It sounds like it needs to have a constant live feed so that it remembers it's settings. It's usually the yellow wire. The red one should be for the ignition switch. (to make it come on with the key)

The yellow wire seems to be installed. Will check it tomorrow to make sure it is live. Cheers for your help.
