Peugeot 206 roof rack

I have a 206 5-door. I want to fit a roof rack for bike carriers. It does not have roof bars or gutters, but it has a plastic strip running front to back at each side of the roof. It looks like it might come out and have something to do with fitting bars.

is it anything to do with fitting a roof rack?
if so, how does it come out?

I looked at doing the same on my daughters car but as the trim went down to the scuttle panel, I decided it's best left in place.

Peugeot have an interesting way of fitting a roof rack on the 206.

open the doors and rear windows you'll see some black plugs under the door seal. The roof rack is fitted at those point.

I just went down and had a look, I see the slots and the hole-patches

suppose that only works if you buy the genyuine Peugeot accessory ££££££

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Our youngest is off to Glastonbury with friends and i'll have pay for the rr.
