peugeot 206 spanner

I had my car serviced etc, about 2 months ago. i have noticed this silly little spanner keeps popping up on my display, flashing. i read the manual and it says its a reminder of when i need a service. I didnt take it to the peugeot dealer. anyone know how i get rid of it?

Dont know what year or engine size the car is but this works on most:

Turn of ignition
Press and hold in button by speedo/temp guage
Turn on ignition
Keep button held in for 10 secs
Display should now read "0" and spanner light will go out.


If this doesnt work, post the year and engine size and i'll have a look

i will try it out tonight after work and let you know how i go on. its a peugeot 206 glx 2002,
