peugeot 206

I have just noticed when i put my key in the ignition, just before i start the motor, the display shows ECO-MOD. Any ideas what this could be? Usually the temperature comes up or something.
Its a 2002 peugeot 206glx

At a guess, Economy-Mode?

What does that mean though? i dont want it on that mode if it is

Have checked with my mate who's wife is on her 4th peugeot.Although he is not sure how long a car has to be parked for it to work the eco-mod is a battery saver system.Things like interior lamp,radio,driving lamps stop working until next time the ignition is on.A quick call to a Peugeot dealer would pad out the detail,but it is nothing to do with performance.Hope this helps.
