Can anyone tell me where to find the reversing light on a 406. This is my daughters car which she has just bought but the reversing lights do not work. I have checked the fuses and changed the bulbs but still no joy. I think maybe the switch has not been reconnected when the previous owner changed the clutch. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Its on the gearbox itself, pretty sure its on the top but may be on the side.
If you bridge the 2 pin connector with a bit of wire and put the ignition on they should come on. If they do its a duff switch which are only a few quid to change
