I'm pretty certain it's impossible, but can't rememebr why. I've a feeling the second row of seats in the 7 seater is actually a bit further forward than in the 5 seater. Also, I don't think the necessary reinforcements to take the belt anchorages are there on a 5 seater shell, and I think the 7 seater has heavier duty rear suspension.
Thanks for that. Please could you explain why? Our previous car [Berlingo] was written off by a hit-and-run, and we bought this one secondhand from our local Pug dealer. It was only when I read the drivers' manual that I realised there was a seven seater version. It would be very useful as we have seven grandchildren, five of them siblings. I just want to add the third row; I know the centre row is different, but I can live with that.
If you have no mounting points for the seat belts you cant fit the seats. But get it checked out, you may well be lucky and your particular vehicle has all the relevant mounting points. If you haven't got them, you cant fit the seats. You cant have unrestrained passengers in a vehicle.
Yes, thanks for that, I am aware of it, but thanks anyway. I don't really want to change the car again, as she-who-must-be-obeyed has already 'personalised' it, as she says. I expect my Peugeots to do at least 200,000 miles, as the first one did. I am kicking myself for not spotting this in time!
