Peugot 306 electric windows

I have an intermittent problem with the near side electric window and the near side electric wing mirror. The window works occasionally,the mirror never. Have removed door panel and fiddled with the wiring to no avail.Any ideas please.

a violin makes a nicer tune than wires and a fiddle

by fiddle i suppose you mean you pulled and pushed and shook them?

i would suggest you take door panel off follow each wire in turn and see where it goes, and make sure it is not / has not broken off / bad connection

then i would do the same as it enters the car from the door.

then i would pull (gently) each one if it comes off in your hand (i am not joking) then it is safe to say that wire is broken.

then i would do the same to the other door ( i dont know your car, but i presume the controls are on the drivers door) or where ever the control buttons are if not on the door

also have you checked ALL the fuses.
