Hi all,
I've found some posts that are close to my problem but not exactly so hoping someone can help. We have a Philips Whirlpool washer drier (at least 12 years old) and I've broken the door handle as pulled it too hard and think it hadn't fully unlocked. So the door handle has snapped and bits fallen out (at least one spring!) and the door is shut. With a full load inside
We've switched it off at the mains and are trying running it through a spin cycle now just in case it just hasn't fully drained. But I have a feeling even with that it's still not going to open as I think the handle itself is broken now.
On other posts it mentions taking the lid off and there being a release catch inside, but that was for other manufacturers so wondering if the same applies for ours? Or if there is another way we can get the door open?
All help appreciated!!
Thanks!
Matt
