phillips television 21pv335 not working

hi,

i was wondering if anyone could help me solve my problem. on my phillips television 21pv335 i cannot install anything anymore. when i go to the installation menu, all it says is "n. act." and i cant click on anything. how do i ever install the channels when i cannot select anything?

does anyone know how to solve this "n. act."?

1st - Do you still have analogue TV i your area? If analogue is switched off as part of the National Digital Switchover then you might be wasting your time.


Have you tried resetting the combi? I'm not sure there's a 21PV335, so I'm guessing you have a 21PV385 and these instructions relate to that model. If yours is a different set then have a look at the Philips support web site www.p4c.philips.com and download the correct manual for yourself.

• put the combi in to standby
  on the front panel find the 'Prog P+' and 'Rec' buttons
  hold them in at the same time - keep them held in for at least 5 seconds

This will reset the unit to the factory default setting. Any timer programmes set will also be erased.

i read some guide for my tv from the link you posted and turns out i had to reset all the settings by pressing fast-forward and rewind buttons at same time. and it worked!
