Does anyone know how you do it?

If its an English Number, then just dial it as you would normally. Location of the person you're calling is unimportant.

If its a Czech mobile then I'd go for 00 420 and then dial the number without the first zero.

Yes it's my daughters number but it just says 'Unable to connect'.

Maybe its switched off.

Possibly.

Did she remember to set up roaming before she went ? If not, that may also be the reason.

Her mum's had a text so I'll talk to her about it.

what language does it say it in? if its english, surely that means you have typed the country code in wrong?

It just says, "Sorry, but we have been unable to connect your call, please try later".

I was in Prague at easter and we couldn't get our mobiles to ring one another. We got the same 'unable to connect' message. Texts between each other, and to UK worked fine though.
