photoshop 7.0 help!

I use photoshop to add notes to my garden design drawings, which are hand drawn and then scanned onto my pc. I then use photoshop to touch up the photos and add various annotations etc.

I would like to be able to paste photos or other images onto the drawing as well (e.g. a photo of a plant to help the client relate to the planting plan). How do i do this in photoshop? (sorry but im very basic with it!)

Open both the images in photoshop, use your main pic as background. Highlight the area you want to move from the second pic( your plant) then using "move tool" click on it & drag it over to your main pic.
