Morning,
I’m after some of the above but it’s pricey. The systainer specific stuff is £10 per box and I have 20+ systainers.
Is there a cheaper alternative or supplier anyone knows of?
Ta.
Find a foam supplier who sells sheets of "diced foam". It's used a lot in the packaging industry to protect tools and precision instruments. The material itself should ideally be "ballistic foam"
57 / 30mm Thick KAIZEN SHADOW FOAM. FastCap premium quality Kaizen shadow foam is specially manufactured in layers allowing you to cut and peel the foam back to perfectly fit your tools! The specially formulated layers make it easy to lift out the unwanted foam, so that your tool fits in perfectly!

For some things I avoid eBay. Instead I went to a foam seller's website. e.g. eFoam (took me a while to remember the name) who sell pre-cubed inserts and also sell die cut foam, so they might already have a die cutter for your Systainers. They also do the "rippled" stuff for lid inserts, etc. Personally I'm not that bothered about specifically sized sheets as the stuff cuts reasonably well with a sharp jigsaw wavy knife blade, e.g. Bosch T103AWP:

Thanks for the suggestions, plenty of options. I like the cubed foam I think, and possibly a firmer foam but not that fussed about he firmness. It will get used for power tools.
