Well folks, it's that time of the week again!



I found this in a pub cellar this week.

How do you take the lid off then?

More common than I thought.

Had the same thing with a meter about a month ago.

And I'm always getting CU's right on top of meters.

Told the customer he would have to remove some of his brand new ceiling before I'd return.

Not been back yet maybe one of the other lads got it.

I saw something similar in Stoke the other week.

A terraced house with (originally) a front door opening into the front room.

Picture yourself on the inside facing the front door. To your right is a cupboard with the CU & meter in it.

Now picture a partition wall having been erected just to the right of the front door to make a hallway.

Trouble was, the wall was built partially over the CU.......

You need to get some BROWN, GREY and BLACK instead of using that old coloured cable by your feet.
