Sick and tired of wood pigeons cr*pping on the lawn!
We have an electric supply cable runs across the bottom of the garden which they sit on so 'expect' to get some droppings in that area but now they strut around the main lawn whenever we are not out there. Bought a flying falcon and had it suspended from a high thin pole so it fluttered in the wind but they just ignore it.
There are a lot of conifers at the bottom and the house next door has a variety of very large trees that they roost in them so it's not a case of trying to chase them out of the area, (besides which we are in the country).
Anyone got any suggestions for something that actually works to scare them off or keep them at bay? (Killing is out of the question as we are pagans and harming/killing is against our nature)

Not much point. It is so dense with trees they probably wouldn't see it and on the other side is open meadow. They'd probably eat the seed then come and sh*t in my garden.
