Builder started digging footings yesterday and we have now found out my house is on piles (We had to go down 2.4m to find them)
We have grubbed out and old lean to that probably shouldn't have been there that was on a concrete base.
Had the quote in today nearly 14k (with concrete slab) plus VAT for the piles (I need to take off the excising work in the quote for the original footings)
The single story building is approx. 24m square OR just short of 15 linier meters.
I know its a subjective question but know matter how many online calcs I do, I end up half this price?
