Hello,
I'm a DIYer, and am trying to make a small cabinet. I used par redwood planed down to 12mm, and have now learned that it splits and warps. So I'm looking at pineboard. I can buy it at DIY shops at 18mm, but not 12mm.
So I have a couple of questions; Is pineboard more stable and is it easy to work with? Can I buy it at 12mm? Also, will 12mm pineboard give me the same problems as 12mm redwood? If so, what is the minimum depth that you would recommend?
Thank you.
