Pinnacle Studio 9

I have Pinnacle Studio 9 software on my computer which works fine with DV video. I have been trying to copy VCR tapes to my computer using the software and Dazzle Digital Video Creator 80. I have had Studio crash several times but have managed to overcome this now. My trouble now is I tranfer the video to my computer with the sound playing, but when I play back the recording there is no sound, but the sound track shows as being on the recording. All the sound settinmgs are the same as other recordings which play ok.

only a thought, would it not be easier to get a dvd recorder / video?

It would be except I want to edit the subject matter and title it etc which is easier on the computer.

true, but what about putting onto a dvd (un edited) then put it on the pc and edit it

There is a very comprehensive help facility on the latest studio 9 which I presume you have been through, if that has not resolved your problem the on-line pinnacle helpdesk is pretty good if a bit slow
