Pinning breathable membrane on plywood

What type of screws or nails should I use for this? I’ve staplers being used but I don’t own one of these.

Suitable staple gun is less than £10, otherwise some panels pins would work as well but more labour intensive.

Any recommendations for a staple gun @freddiemercurystwin? Also, would felt nails be any good?

I use a basic staple gun like you’d buy anywhere for stuff like that. Or you can get bigger ones from screwfix etc. If the gun isn’t quite up to the job a single tap of each staple with hammer sorts it

You can use felt nails if time isn't a factor.

Ordinary staples will rust away in damp conditions.

I think panel pins might pull through.

They're only to hold the membrane in place during construction, there'll be battens going on presumably.
